Miller's Seawall serves great good. Home cooking style food. Very tasty lots of choices. Go hungry. Go off hours or expect to wait. We ate there 3 times in 4 days as we were trying to eat our way through the menu. They have a bar for drinks only upstairs with a nice view. We had hamburger steak, augrauten potatoes and green beans, fried fish, crab stuffing (fantastic) and spinach. We shared a bowl of gumbo for an appetizer. Senior prices available and lunch specials available. Oh yes you get rolls with everything and they are amazing.

Outstanding Experience at Miller’s Seawall Grill! We had an amazing dining experience here during our visit to Galveston! Our group of 10 was initially quoted a 40-minute wait, but thanks to the hostess working her magic, we were seated together in just about 15 minutes—such a pleasant surprise. Our server, Lelan N., was one of the best I’ve ever had. He had waters on the table the moment we sat down, never missed a single refill, and was super knowledgeable about the menu. He offered helpful suggestions when I couldn’t decide, and his recommendation—the blackened shrimp tacos—was spot on. Absolutely delicious! We ordered a variety of dishes, and not one single complaint from anyone at our table: • Crab-stuffed jalapenos and crab dip appetizers were both bursting with flavor. • The shrimp tacos, Gouda grits and shrimp, and crab cakes were all hits. • The mac and cheese (only 10!) came in a huge portion and was creamy and delicious. • The Reuben sandwich and onion rings were also fantastic. If you’re visiting Galveston, do not skip Miller’s Seawall Grill. The food, service, and atmosphere made for a perfect experience. Highly recommend!

Fried oysters were melt in your mouth. Excellent breading. Didnt get award winning shrimp grits gouda, but did get minus shrimp. The grits were exceptional. Left too full for either award winning desserts. This will be a revisit if we come back to galveston. Highly recommend.

Miller's Seawall Grill is a fantastic casual spot right by the water — the kind of place where great food and great views come together perfectly. We started with the fried calamari, which was crispy, tender, and full of flavor — easily one of the best we’ve had. For the main course, we tried both the grilled and fried shrimp. The fried shrimp were golden and crunchy with just the right amount of seasoning. The grilled shrimp came with a generous helping of sauteed onions, which added a delicious savory-sweet flavor that I really enjoyed. The setting is relaxed and welcoming, and the view of the Gulf just adds to the experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Miller's is definitely worth a stop. Great food, friendly service, and an unbeatable view — what more could you ask for?

I cannot say enough good things about Millers. I have been eating here since I was a kid visiting Galveston and I still love it just as much today. The food is great and you won’t get better service anywhere on the island. The staff here is just pure gold. There are great views of the gulf from anywhere in the restaurant as well. If you are in Galveston, you owe it to yourself to eat here!

We showed up to Miller’s Seawall Grill in Galveston hungry, hopeful, and a little sunburned. Expectations were cautiously optimistic—because let’s be honest, seafood near a tourist-heavy seawall can go either way: unforgettable meal... or unforgettable regret. But Miller’s? Miller’s delivered the kind of food that makes you consider quitting your job and becoming a beach bum just to be closer to the shrimp and grits. Let’s break this holy trinity down: The Corn Chowder: I don’t know what they put in this bowl of creamy goodness, but it’s probably banned in at least three coastal states for being too comforting. Rich, flavorful, a little sweet, and so good that I momentarily forgot I was married and offered my full devotion to a bowl of soup. Boudin Balls: Absolute fire. Crispy on the outside, savory heaven on the inside. They disappeared faster than free WiFi in a hurricane. My Snapper: Perfectly grilled and so fresh I half expected it to swim off the plate. The seasoning was subtle, letting the fish do the talking. It whispered, “You’re welcome.” My Wife’s Shrimp and Grits: Legendary. And I don’t throw that word around lightly. The shrimp were plump and perfectly seasoned, nestled into a bed of creamy, cheesy grits like royalty returning from battle. I reached across the table for a bite and received the look—you know, the one that means, “touch my shrimp again and you’re walking back to the mainland.” Dessert: Key lime pie. Tart, creamy, graham-cracker-crusted bliss. If this pie ran for office, I’d vote for it. Twice. But let me tell you who really tied the whole experience together—Mira, our waitress. Snarky, sarcastic, quick with a joke, and sharp enough to keep us on our toes. Basically the waitress equivalent of your funniest friend’s sassier cousin who always wins at Cards Against Humanity. Mira didn’t just serve our food—she elevated the whole experience with perfectly timed zingers and a dose of Texas-sized charm. I’m not saying I want her to narrate my life, but I’m also not not saying that. Miller’s Seawall isn’t just a seafood joint. It’s a coastal confessional where the food heals your soul, the dessert baptizes your sins in lime and cream, and the service makes you feel like you’re in on the joke. Five stars, stretchy pants recommended, and if you see Mira—tell her we said thanks... and yes, we’re still thinking about the chowder.

This is my family’s favorite restaurant in Galveston! I decided to show this restaurant to my friend today and we had a great time. We ordered the Miller Platter and everything was perfect, The fried fish, fried blackened shrimp, crab balls, gumbo, onion rings, and an additional side of mac and cheese were all perfect. Delicious and more than enough food for two people. If you have some room to spare, order the brownie. It was So Good. Thank you to our server, Lelan, for taking great care of us! You were a delight :) I look forward to my next visit
